Highly recommend this beautiful apartment, it is very spacious and has all the amenities that are required.
Prime location and only a five-minute walk to the main shopping Street.
Kati, the Manager was super helpful with any questions or advice regarding recommendations.
We would definitely look forward to staying here again and highly recommend this luxurious apartment for anyone wanting to stay in Budapest.

Fantastic apartment. I and 3 friends were fortunate to stay in the Budapest Gerloczy Apartment in October.
Firstly the ideal location. It's situated on a narrow street in an area of much charm. It is very close to many cafes, bars, and restaurants.
It is also a leisurely stroll to the Danube River, the iconic parliament buildings, and many other grand historical buildings.
Close by is a bus stop for the airport and the metro to discover the wider city as well as a hop on hop off bus kiosk.
The apartment is certainly spacious, a very welcome change to the usual small hotels of Europe.
The two bedrooms are large with the bonus of two modern bathrooms allowing four people a comfortable stay.
The kitchen is well supplied with everything one would require to prepare meals in-house, and there are two supermarkets nearby.
The lounge is huge and for relaxing, there is a television, dining table, and sofas that can be unfolded for more guests.
Oh, the washing machine is an added bonus. No laundromats are needed.
The apartment is a delightful old building. very secure on the 3rd floor and with a lift.
Budapest is a beautiful and historical city. And the Gerloczy apartment is where you must stay to see this city at a relaxed pace.
I would thoroughly recommend it and would love to return one day.

We loved the apartment and loved Budapest. We walked and walked. As well as all the main sights & experiences there are surprises around every corner. Budapest is vibrant and fascinating.
The apartment is stylish and spacious, thoughtfully fitted out, wonderfully comfortable and in a perfect central location to explore the city.
There is a great café a short block away, supermarket and other conveniences are nearby as well as many excellent restaurant to try. The Manageress could not have been more helpful.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Budapest Luxury Apartment - and hope to stay again ourselves.

We stayed at this beautiful and extremely well-located apartment for the second time and had a wonderful time. It is easy to get to various parts of Budapest by public transport and there are two taxi ranks nearby. Hungarian food and wine is excellent. Be sure to try Cafe Gerloczy in the same street as the apartment, nearby Cafe Kor (the goose liver is delicious) and the excellent restaurant Csalogany on the other side of the Danube. And do visit the Hold Street market.

This was the second time I have stayed in this beautiful and luxurious apartment in the heart of Budapest. It is beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable, with all amenities provided for a trouble free stay. We really appreciated the supplies and other little extras provided, especially the coffee. Love the ‘use it but replace it’ pantry here.
It’s proximity to the public transport system means that all places of interest in Budapest are easily accessible. It is just steps away from quality restaurants and coffee shops too. There are no less than four supermarkets nearby so supplies are never a problem. Vaci Street, one of the main fashion shopping streets, is a short walk away.
Our month here was a truly wonderful experience. If you are lucky and this place is available for your dates, don’t hesitate to book.

We arrived in Budapest after 11 excellent days of bike riding looking forward to being in one place for a few days and not having to pack our case every day! Your apartment was so perfect, we immediately felt relaxed and at home. Welcome by the Manageress the apartment is beautifully renovated and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic with public transport close by, which made travelling around the city an absolute breeze. Nearby restaurants/cafes were brilliant with great staff/service as well as excellent coffee!! We had some very warm weather but the apartment was cool, quiet and very comfortable. It is a great location from which to explore the city and a pleasure to return to every day. We had a wonderful time. Catherine and Philip

A fantastic find in Budapest!
The entrance to the apartment building belies the treat that lays inside. The apartment has a real WOW factor, combining the traditional elegance of a bygone era with a spacious, minimalist style. Beautiful bathrooms and a cleverly designed kitchen provide a five star touch! However, it is the location that is it's greatest asset. The apartment is lodged between the famous Andrassy Boulevard, the Vaci Utca shopping strip and the grand Danube River. While most of the main sights on my list were within walking distance, the convenience of buses and a metro station around the corner, provided access to the Buda side of the city, the airport and places further afield. The proximity of restaurants, good coffee, a supermarket and a ruin pubs of the Jewish quarter, also added to the amenities. We had a wonderful time here!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the apartment in Gerloczy Utca in Budapest. I was there with my family over new year and the apartment made for a warm and homely base to explore the incredible city during the winter. The central location meant that it was easy to explore all sights of Budapest without ever having to travel too far. It was such a charming place to explore by foot and we rarely needed to use any other form of transportation. The few times we did, we found Budapest’s public transport to be an easy to understand and an efficient system – easily accessible from Gerloczy Utca. For a family of four the apartment was spacious and its living spaces were easy to share.

Me and my wife and 2 teenage children, had the pleasure of staying at the Gerloczy Utca apartment in Budapest for a week around New year’s day of 2018. The apartment is located right in the centre of Pest, walking distance to all the famous landmarks of this charming city. On our first evening we walked from the apartment, after first eating at one of the delightful Christmas Markets, along the Danube, across the famous Chain Bridge towards the Castle district to enjoy the fantastic view of Budapests’ Parliament House from the Castle Hill. So conveniently situated is the apartment we were able to do all this and be back in the apartment in a few hours. The apartment itself is in an old Budapest apartment block which is newly renovated. It has ample sleeping room for 6 people and has two modern bathrooms, a dining room and a wonderfully renovated kitchen. We stayed in winter and the apartment was comfortably warm and well insulated. We found that eating out in Budapest was very affordable and there was a delightfully traditional restaurant just a stone’s throw away from the apartment with an excellent Hungarian menu and old fashioned high quality service. Our week in Budapest was made so much more enjoyable by being able to return every night to our comfortable lodgings.

Bodil and I had an excellent time in Budapest. Our time in your spacious, light-filled apartment was a major factor in our enjoyment. The transport arrangement via Peter Vezer was seamless and we were introduced to the apartment by the very friendly and helpful Manageress. She made some recommendations of things to do and we enjoyed them all. We had very good meals at Gerloczy Café and Kolette's. Explored the city by tram Metro and on foot. The location of the apartment is such that all of the inner city is in easy reach by foot and we explored much of it this way. St Stephen's Basilica, the Opera House, the Central Market and the parliament House were all within easily accessible as were many more attractions. We are now cruising west along the Rhine, but we will always remember our three days in your apartment in Budapest.

Thanks so much for the use of your apartment in Budapest! We had an amazing time! It was really great to be within walking distance to the river, the Castle and all the lovely squares with the Christmas markets! Right near all the transport options from Deak Ter, it was very easy to get to music venues, museums and shops all over the city, which were of particular interest to us!
Thanks:)

Our sojourn in Sandra and Otto's gorgeous apartment began in June with a pleasant trip by train to Budapest. Upon our arrival we were met by our driver who delivered us to the Manageress at the apartment, who explained all we needed to know about staying here. This was prearranged by Otto. During the next few days we enjoyed the sights:
-
the Castle,
-
a boat trip on the Danube, and
-
the Heroes Square,
-
travelling on the Hop On Hop Off bus.
There was some fine shopping in the nearby Vaci and Andrassy Streets. Another highlight was an opera performance of Rigoletto. We had a splendid evening meal at the nearby Gerloczy Cafe, and some amazing afternoon teas at the beautiful New York Cafe and Gerbaud Cafe. The apartment is spacious, extremely comfortable, secure for tourists and serviced by a lift as well as some stairs. The central location allows easy access to trams and the underground train line. We would both be happy to stay here again.

Gerloczy Apartment is elegant and superbly appointed. An unbelievable find! In the grand style with high ceilings and picture windows it has lots of space, is light and airy and tastefully decorated. Situated in the centre of Pest close to the Danube, we could easily walk to many attractions, and there is a taxi rank nearby. The kitchen is very well equipped for every meal, otherwise nearby Gerloczy Restaurant is excellent. The beds were beautifully comfortable, the bathrooms smart and white clean and the laundry with washing machine and dryer, well set up for all our needs. The building is very secure and has a lift. We stayed a week and absolutely enjoyed every day.

The best accommodation in Budapest is 'chic and savvy'. Comfort, beauty and convenience are all five star in this newly renovated city apartment. Where else do you find a dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer and fast wifi, and be able to walk to the Danube in five minutes. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.

Budapest Luxury Apartment is centrally located and has everything you will need whether you are staying for one night or 2 weeks. Spacious rooms, full kitchen facilities, security, wifi, modern bathrooms and linen service ensure your stay is extremely comfortable. It's just a short stroll down to the Danube River, river cruises, museums and a vast range of eateries as well as public transport and tourist information centres close by.
I would highly recommend this apartment whether it is for a couple or a family and if I'm ever back in Budapest I know where I will be staying.
